CNN Instant Poll: Almost 70 Percent Feel More Optimistic After Trump Speech


CNN’s instant poll tonight contains good news for President Trump.

57 percent of people who responded said they had a very positive reaction to the president’s speech, 21 percent felt somewhat positive, and 21 percent said negative.

69 percent felt more optimistic about the direction the country is going in.

The majority of those polled felt his proposals on the economy, terrorism, health care, and other issues were “heading in the right direction.”

CNN does note in the results that Bush received 66% very positive results in 2001 and Obama got 68%.
