Aurora Shooter James Holmes Took Vicodin Before Attack, According To Sources
New details are coming to light about the events surrounding the Colorado shooting last night and James Holmes, the man held by police for the shooting. Sources are telling the ABC affiliate in Denver that two and a half hours before the shooting, Holmes took 100 mg of Vicodin.
It has also come to light that when the first responders showed up to the scene, they initially thought the shooter was a “fellow officer.”
As for the actual events of the shooting, people have been providing more details of what happened inside the theater.
Sources describe an eerie scene with dying and wounded people on the floor, strobe lights flashing through the smoke, screaming sirens and the Batman movie playing in the background.
The incident started with Holmes was in the theater watching movie for a few minutes when some witness said he left and returned dressed in the body armor and tactical gear, according to sources.
