The Stand With Hillary PAC has made a country music video in support of Hillary Clinton, and yes, it’s just as cringeworthy as you can imagine for a song all about building up just one person.
There are lines like “Put your boots on and let’s smash this ceiling” and “We came together in ’08, a defining moment we all can celebrate.” (This is possibly an Obama reference, but the current Democratic president is not mentioned at all in this song.)
Oh, and the winner for vaguest sentence ever uttered: “And through it all, she’s a loving wife.”
The setting is a farm (subtle) and obviously, the song builds up how awesome Hillary Clinton is and why everyone should “stand up” with her in 2016.
