The Dallas Cowboys have joined dozens of their NFL colleagues by taking a knee on the football field.
The Cowboys are playing against the Arizona Cardinals tonight, and the team joined up with owner Jerry Jones, locked arms, and took a knee together. The team’s demonstration occurred before the National Anthem was sung, though it still drew booing from the audience.
There has been an uptick in kneeling NFL athletes ever since President Trump launched a feud against them over the weekend. Some kneeling athletes have said they are continuing Colin Kaepernick’s protest against systemic racism, while others have taken a knee to a call for unity.
