David Cameron: The World ‘Cannot Opt Out of’ Fighting ISIS

NBC News is airing an exclusive interview tonight with British Prime Minister David Cameron, and in a preview clip, Cameron warns that there is no opting out of fighting ISIS because it poses a very serious threat to the world.

He tells Brian Williams that not only does ISIS have rather a lot of resources at its disposal, but they’re planning further plots in Europe and elsewhere,” as well as attempts to kill innocents in Britain and the United States.

Cameron says, “So this is a fight you cannot opt out of. These people want to kill us. They’ve got us in their sights and we have to put together this coalition… to make sure that we ultimately destroy this evil organization.”

The latest Westerner to be beheaded in an ISIS video was British aid worker David Haines, and Cameron reacted by tweeting, “We will do everything in our power to hunt down these murderers and ensure they face justice, however long it takes.”
