De Blasio Continues Shots at Hillary: We Need to Hear What She Stands For

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio once worked as campaign manager for Hillary Clinton‘s Senate campaign back in 2000, but on Meet the Press Sunday he said he’s not ready to support her yet because he wants to hear what her vision for America is first.

De Blasio was asked about these comments by reporters today, and he explained that everything in said in public he first said to Clinton and her team.

He cited a litany of progressive issues he would like to see Clinton address, and while he said she’s done “extraordinary” and “profoundly progressive” things, she needs to make her position known on other big issues.

De Blasio said, “[She’s] a candidate who has not been in the public eye, in this sense, for almost eight years, and we’re still beginning to hear what she stands for.”
