Did You Know Sean Spicer Once Played the Easter Bunny at the White House Easter Egg Roll?
Before Sean Spicer was the White House press secretary and being mocked on a weekly basis by Melissa McCarthy on Saturday Night Live, he served as the Republican National Committee’s communications director. And prior to that, he was the assistant U.S. Trade Representative, working in the George W. Bush administration.
Oh, yeah, and he was also the Easter Bunny.
BuzzFeed’s Chris Geidner made the discovery earlier today:

Yep, while Spicer was serving in the Bush White House, he donned the costume for the annual White House Easter Egg Roll.
In a 2013 Washington Post piece about the annual tradition, it was noted that over the years, some “well-known administration officials” were given the task of wearing the costume. And Spicer was one. And he spoke about his experience.
The limited vision can even be dangerous, not so much for the bunny as for the little kids running underfoot, Spicer recalled. That’s why the bunnies have a handler to guide them as they wander about. Volunteers sign up for specific time slots — each an hour or so.
“Early morning is key,” Spicer advised, before the day — and the costume — heat up.
The biggest question is this — how has this picture not become a meme yet?
