Trump supporters compare Flynn forgetting he met with Russian Ambassador to lunch: https://t.co/rqyhbBbRgR

CNN’s Alisyn Camerota had a sit-down with Donald Trump supporters to talk about all the Russian collusion news.
You might be unsurprised to learn that, generally, they didn’t care.
Now is a great time to remind you that last night, former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn offered to testify about possible Russian collusion and ties to the Trump administration in exchange for immunity. It’s also a good time to remind you that Flynn is the former NSA because he spoke to the Russian ambassador and misrepresented what he said in that conversation to now-Vice President Mike Pence.
“Let me ask you a question, Alisyn,” said one of the focus group participants after Camerota asked about reports that Flynn didn’t even remember the meeting with the ambassador. “Do you remember what you had for lunch last Tuesday?”
“So you think he really just didn’t remember that he met with the Russian ambassador?” Camerota asked. “Lunch is different than meeting with a Russian ambassador.”
“Not when you meet with a lot of ambassadors and that’s part of your job!” piped up another Trump voter.
Camerota’s chats with Trump fans have become infamous in media circles in recent months. It was during one of those, you’ll recall, that one such voter said she believed Trump’s claim that 3 million people voted illegally in the election because she’d seen it on Facebook.
