President Donald Trump’s most controversial son did not appreciate Hillary Clinton’s appearance on The Tonight Show — at least that’s what his Twitter account suggests, as Donald Trump Jr. no longer follows Jimmy Fallon’s show on the social media site.
As first reported by a Twitter account called @TrumpsAlert — a bot that provides updates on all the Trump family’s social media interactions — Donald Jr. appears to have unfollowed the late night host 10 minutes after Fallon’s account posted a clip of his interview with the former Democrat presidential candidate. Specifically, what appears to have triggered the eldest Trump son to unfollow the show is a clip of Clinton talking to Fallon about the American people’s resilience in standing up to the current administration.
On Wednesday, Clinton went on The Tonight Show to promote her book on the 2016 presidential election, What Happened. In the interview, Clinton did not hold back in her attacks on Trump, slamming the president for “Golfing, tweeting, [and] watching cable TV,” while Fallon sided with her and said America still needs her involved in politics.
“And I was [devastated], not just because I wanted to win and I wanted to be president and do the work of being president, but because I was so worried as to what it meant to have my opponent win,” said Clinton.
