Donald Trump Jr. Releases Email Chain Promising Russian Dirt on Hillary: ‘If It’s What You Say I Love It’

Donald Trump Jr. has just released his complete email correspondence with Rob Goldstone, the music producer who set up his meeting with a Kremlin-affiliated lawyer with the pretext that there would be information from Russia about Hillary Clinton.

It would appear that these are the emails previously reported by The New York Times, which noted how Trump Jr. was told that meeting with Natalia Veselnitskaya would be part of the Russian government’s effort to help his father win the election.

The emails describe an offer where Trump Jr. was promised “high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and it’s government’s support for Mr. Trump.” The information also promises to help “incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia.”

“Thanks Rob I appreciate that,” Trump Jr. wrote back. “Seems we have some time and if it’s what you say I love it especially later in the summer.”

Trump Jr. also released a statement to accompany the emails, saying Veselnitskaya was not involved with the Russian government, and he thought the meeting would be about Clinton political opposition research. Trump Jr. also confirmed that Paul Manafort and Jared Kushner were present at the discussion.

Interestingly enough, Trump Jr. might have released his email chain because he was told The New York Times was about to write another story about him and his meeting.

This story is developing rapidly, and we shall add more accordingly.
