Donald Trump No Longer Most-Liked Presidential Candidate on Facebook

PicMonkey Collage - TrumpMove over, Donald Trump: the $4.5 billion business magnate is no longer the most-liked presidential candidate on Facebook.

That honor now belongs to famed neurosurgeon Ben Carson, whose electoral stock has soared in the wake of the second presidential debate. Carson now has over 4 million fans who have “liked” his Facebook page, over 100,000 more than Trump.

The Wall Street Journal chalked Carson’s digital coup up to his campaign’s remarkable degree of Facebook engagement. “His campaign manager and chief strategist post daily 70-second videos discussing the latest Carson news and events,” they report. “Mr. Carson himself responds to questions from supporters nightly.”

Carson himself boasted about the development on Twitter.

On the Democratic side, no one comes close to Carson or Trump. Bernie Sanders comes closest with 1.6 million likes, followed closely by Hillary Clinton with 1.4 million likes.
