Donald Trump Says He’ll Decide on 2016 Run Basically the Same Time Hillary Does

Game show host Donald Trump showed up in Iowa over the weekend to campaign for Rep. Steve King (R) and (because rules are rules) someone asked the billionaire if he wants to toy around with has plans for a 2016 presidential campaign.

Trump said he’ll make the decision after the midterm election.

“We’ll see what happens,” he said, according to The Iowa Republican. “Right now we have a president that’s doing such a poor job, such a horrible job. We’ll see who’s running. We’ll see what’s going to happen, first of all, in the next month because that’s going to be very interesting. After that, we’ll make a decision, sometime after the beginning of the year.”

Coincidentally, that’s essentially the same answer former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton gave when she was asked the same question in September.

“I am going to be making a decision around probably after the first of the year about whether I’m going to run again or not,” she said at the time.
