Saturday Night Live has been killing it lately. Alec Baldwin does an incredible impression of President Donald Trump, and for the last two weeks Melissa McCarthy has appeared as press secretary Sean Spicer. It was reported that Trump was unhappy that a woman was playing Spicer, and when that report circulated, people were quick to come up with other women who should play male members of Trump’s cabinet.
Twitter decided that Rosie O’Donnell, one of Trump’s least favorite people, would make a good Steve Bannon, and Rosie was on board. She even changed her Twitter profile picture to show how good she could be.
Last week, SNL aired and she wasn’t there. Looks like she’s not going to be there this week either, or for that matter, anytime soon. TMZ caught up with her in Los Angeles, and she said it’s a no-go. When asked why, she said “I’m not in the cast,” which doesn’t make much sense since Baldwin and McCarthy also aren’t in the cast. It’s more likely that SNL just didn’t bite. Bannon as the Grim Reaper has been working really well anyway.
