‘Don’t Let Him Back In!’: Mizzou Professor Mocks Student Reporter in Longer Video

The professor who harassed student reporters at a campus protest yesterday continued to push out cameras in an extended version of the video released by one student reporter yesterday.

As shown in the other video, Professor Melissa Click––who is part of the university’s communications department––tells reporters to get lost and asks for “muscle” to get them out of the protest area.

When the student filming the video said he can be on public property, Click mockingly said, “That’s a really good one.” She continued, “I’m communications factulay and I really get that argument, but you need to go. You need to go.”

The student was eventually led out of the protest area to outside the student circle to protect the safe space. Click resurfaces to shout, “Don’t let him back in! He shouldn’t be here!”

When she walked around the circle and saw the same student, she said, “Oh, he’s a good one,” and told the other students to not let reporters in.

The UM School of Journalism is voting today on whether to remove her.
