Drudge Report Claims Exclusive That Megyn Kelly Might ‘Jump Networks’

Good morning!

The current headline on the Drudge Report doesn’t link anywhere. It’s just a six-word sentence that packs a big punch. It is the definition of “whoa, if true.” See for yourself:

We will update if the exclusive becomes more concrete and have reached out to Megyn Kelly‘s representatives for more information.

Reports on Kelly’s job prospects beyond Fox News have been conflicting. Some say other networks aren’t welcoming the queen of cable news ratings with open arms, but her co-hosting stint on Live! gave Kelly Ripa‘s morning show its highest ratings since Michael Strahan left.

UPDATE — 10:52 a.m. EST:

Drudge’s front page has been updated. It now links to a full report claiming CNN wants Kelly and Jeff Zucker is “moving the Himalayan mountains to get her.”

A poll of Drudge readers reveals that most of the conservative touchstone’s faithful actually want Kelly to go to CNN:

Note this observation from Drudge:

[T]he chance to go directly against arch-nemesis Bill O’Reilly will be hard to resist.

We will update if and when we hear back from her reps.

UPDATE — 11:48 a.m. EST:

Kelly’s reps, who are her first non-Fox PR retention, declined comment.
