ESPN Anchor Suing Ice Rink After Getting Injured by Change Machine
Linda Cohn, frequent anchor of ESPN’s SportsCenter, has filed suit against a New York ice rink after she had to receive 25 stitches when an arcade change machine fell onto her arm. She was supposed to go out onto the ice in goalie gear and receive shots from the AHL’s Hartford Wolf Pack players, but had to cancel after some kids knocked the machine over.
Cohn tweeted about the incident when it happened back in March:

Deadspin published a copy of the suit, which accuses the Brewster Ice Arena of negligence and claims Cohn “continues to endure great pain and suffering,” and “continues to be unable to engage in and attend to all daily activities, pursuits and pleasure associated with (her) person and station in life.”
