Ex-Aide to Head of GA GOP Files Lawsuit, Claims She Was Called ‘House N*gger’

Qiana Keith used to work as an aide for John Padgett, the head of the Georgia Republican Party, and now she’s filed suit against the state party, claiming not only was she discriminated against, but one party official actually called her a “house n*gger.”

Keith claims in her lawsuit that Karen Hentschel, the party’s accounting director, singled her out for aggressive criticism about parking spots and the like. She said Hentschel was prone to dropping profanities (like “fill the fucking seats”) in front of her, and once she reportedly told someone, of Keith, “Don’t worry about her; she is just the house n*gger.”

In the suit, Keith says she was fired for complaining about her treatment. An attorney for the state Republican party said this is not the case; Keith was fired for her poor job performance, and the investigation they made into Keith’s claims about racial discrimination turned up nothing of merit.
