According to reports, federal authorities have arrested a man believed to be responsible for making death threats to Jewish community centers across the United States.
The man arrested is 31-year-old Juan Thompson, of St. Louis.

According to the complaint filed by the FBI, Thompson made eights threats as part of a cyber harassment campaign against his ex-girlfriend. Thompson then contacted the Center of American-Islamic Relations with an anonymous tip blaming his ex-girlfriend for the threat. He is also charged with stalking and making false complaints, claiming his ex was in possession of child porn.
UPDATE (10:31 AM): The FBI clarified in a statement that Thompson is not believed to be prime suspect in the recent spate of bomb threats. They believe he is a copycat who only made eight threats, while the original suspect is still at large.
