A small-time criminal from Long Island with a rap sheet that included drug possession and robbery was nabbed by the FBI for allegedly trying to join ISIS days after he was busted trying to jump a subway turnstile in New York City.

According to the New York Daily News, Elvis Redzepagic was apprehended by the feds on Friday at his parents home and charged with providing material support to a terrorist group.

Since 2012, Redzepagic has been arrested at least half-a-dozen times in NYC alone, including his latest bust for trying to get a free subway ride.

Per authorities, the 26-year-old man tried in the past two years to join the notorious terror group in Syria but failed.

Officials said the wannabe jihadi visited the Middle East twice between July 2015 and August 2016, both times failing in his efforts to enter Syria and join ISIS.Redzepagic allegedly told authorities he was willing to blow himself up to be a martyr and “die for the sake of Allah,” officials said Saturday.

The man’s uncle said that the “

kid’s not normal” and he’s “just screwed up,” adding that Redzepagic “never works” and he “does drugs.”

In 2015, Redzepagic traveled to Turkey in order to “engage in violent jihad” but was unable to find a way to enter Syria. He tried to enter Syria again last year, traveling to Jordan that time, but was stopped at the border and deported.

The FBI stated that they found numerous messages on his Facebook praising ISIS. He was expected to be arraigned on Saturday.
