Right-wing internet personality best known for stunts like crashing Shakespeare in the Park or James Comey’s book signing Laura Loomer announced Wednesday morning that she landed a new gig on “Fox News Radio.”

Loomer, a conspiracy theorist who appears on InfoWars, tweeted to her 152,000 followers that starting Friday, she’ll be “regularly contributing LIVE news reports” on Fox News Radio, along with a promotional graphic that includes “Fox Radio.”

Although she does leave a link a website and a phone number for listeners to call in, she didn’t exactly make it clear that her gig isn’t actually with Fox News Radio but rather a local affiliate in Pennsylvania.

Fox News made it clear in a statement to Mediaite that Loomer does not work for them.

“Laura Loomer is not affiliated in any way with FOX News Radio. She will be a local guest contributor on an affiliate station, WFYL-AM located in Jeffersonville, PA, which is not owned or operated by FOX News,” a spokesman said.

Washington Free

Beacon‘s Alex Griswold tore into Loomer on Twitter for her misleading announcement.

And at one point, Loomer and Griswold had an exchange regarding her employment claim.
