Actor Tracy Morgan is still in the hospital, recovering after a truck crashed into his limo car over the weekend in a crash that left a friend of Morgan’s dead. His family has already refuted rumors about his health, and the truck driver in question has been charged after it was discovered he was asleep at the wheel.
And now FX, the channel Morgan had been working with on a sitcom, has put out a statement about the status of that show, in light of Morgan’s recovery and the lack of certainty thus far about how long that process will take. Here’s the full statement put out by the network:
“The only thing we are concerned with is the health and recovery of Tracy Morgan and the victims of this tragic accident. We will support Tracy and his family in every way possible throughout his recovery. At the point when Tracy has recovered and decides that he is ready to go back to work, his show will be waiting for him. Right now our thoughts and prayers remain with Tracy, the other victims of the accident, and their families.”
Morgan was working on a show with some of the creative minds behind It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
