Gene Simmons Banned for Life From Fox News Over Crude Behavior: ‘Hey Chicks, Sue Me’
Rock ‘n’ roll giant and recurring Fox News guest Gene Simmons has been permanently banned from the network after reportedly harassing and engaging in inappropriate behavior with their staff.
Simmons recently appeared on Fox & Friends and Fox Business’ Mornings with Maria to promote his new book On Power. During his conversation with Maria Bartiromo, the KISS bassist was asked for his thoughts on Harvey Weinstein and the sexual harassment controversies that have rocked the country for the last few weeks.
The Daily Beast is reporting that after one of his TV hits, Simmons barged into a staff meeting, unbuttoned his shirt, exposed his chest and stomach and shouted “Hey chicks, sue me!”
After that, Simmons started telling Michael Jackson pedophilia jokes while mocking the intellect of Fox’s employees. This involved Simmons tapping Fox staffers on the head with his book and comparing the sounds made.
Management wasn’t happy about this when staffers complained, and it would seem Simmons is now a persona-non-grata at Fox properties.
