Remember when Kanye West made things really awkward when he said “George Bush doesn’t care about Black people” after Hurricane Katrina? Well, this might be a bit more awkward.
The hip-hop star recently appeared at The Forum in Los Angeles, where he released a 10 minute music video for his controversial song Famous. The video has caused a great deal of commotion over this weekend, particularly because of a very graphic scene where West appears in a huge bed with a large group of fellow celebrities, all of whom are completely naked.
The scene, originally imagined by American painter Vincent Desiderio, shows West’s “bunkmates” as Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian, Ray J, Rihanna, Bill Cosby, Caitlyn Jenner, George W. Bush, Donald Trump, Amber Rose, Chris Brown and Anna Wintour. Brown has expressed certain objections to the portrayal of his likeness, and Swift is likely to follow given her complicated past with West.
Even so, George W. Bush’s people spoke to TMZ and said that “in case there was any doubt,” the former POTUS is definitely not in West’s video. The rep also felt obligated to say that “[W] is in much better shape,” than his portrayal on the far left.
