Beck Gets Reported $100 Million Mega-Deal For 5 Year Radio Show Renewal

The New York Times reports that conservative radio host and GBTV creator Glenn Beck‘s company Mercury Radio Arts will announce on Monday that it has renewed its contract with Premiere Networks, effectively keeping “The Glenn Beck Program” in syndication for five more years.

Beck’s radio show is carried by more than 400 stations and runs for three hours every morning. His program typically ranks third, behind powerhouse talk-radio hosts Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity.

The TimesBrian Stetler writes:

Mr. Beck said in a statement about Premiere, “Over the past 10 years, they have proven to be a true partner in every sense of the word.” His last radio deal, in 2007, was valued at $10 million a year. Premiere and Mercury Radio Arts declined to comment on the value of the new one, but a person with direct knowledge of the deal said it would pay Mr. Beck $100 million over the course of the contract.
