Gretchen Carlson Tweets Support For Fox News Accusers: ‘All I Can Say is Thank You’
— Gretchen Carlson (@GretchenCarlson) April 2, 2017
“All I can say is thank you.”
With those words, former Fox News star Gretchen Carlson thrust herself back into the news and the cascading harassment lawsuits now engulfing her former employer.
The tweet came shortly after Lisa Bloom, a victim’s rights attorney representing Wendy Walsh, appeared on CNN’s Reliable Sources. Walsh, who was featured in a recent bombshell report from The New York Times about sexual harassment allegations surrounding Bill O’Reilly, said the Fox host went back on a promise to make her a contributor after she declined his sexual advances.
“This is not my first case against Fox News and I don’t expect it will be my last,” said Bloom, who called the network “the Bill Cosby of corporate America.”
She also included a personal shout-out to Carlson, which likely prompted the response.
“How many Gretchen Carlsons, How many Andrea Tantaros do we need?” she said.
