Harry Reid: Intel Agencies Should Give Trump ‘Fake Briefings’ Because He’s Too Dangerous

harry reidSenate Minority Leader Harry Reid is so alarmed by Donald Trump‘s lack of knowledge and how dangerous he is, he wants intel agencies to avoid briefing him on anything relevant.

Reid spoke to The Huffington Post and said, “I would suggest to the intelligence agencies, if you’re forced to brief this guy, don’t tell him anything, just fake it, because this man is dangerous… Fake it, pretend you’re doing a briefing, but you can’t give the guy any information.”

Reid was reacting to Trump inviting Russia today to find Hillary Clinton‘s missing emails, which has alarmed a great number of people.

Reid said, “We knew he liked Putin before this, but this is quite ridiculous,” and wasn’t done there:

Reid wouldn’t call the comments “treason,” leaving the adjectives to others. But, referencing his nearly half a century in politics, he proclaimed: “I’ve never seen anything like Donald Trump.” The scale of the cybercrime and the possibility of it being done at the behest of a presidential candidate, he added, could wind up being worse than Watergate.

Democrats have been alarmed by the idea of Trump getting classified briefings for a while now. But this is not a phenomenon exclusive to one side.

You’ll recall that weeks ago, after the FBI revealed Hillary Clinton was “careless” with her emails, Paul Ryan demanded that intel agencies block her from getting classified briefings. The request was turned down.
