Every year, The Pioneer Press in Minnesota invites readers to create scenes involving Peeps candies and enter them into their Pioneer Press Marshmallow Peeps Diorama. They got a lot of interesting entries this year, ranging from memorials of veterans to political commentary using Black Lives Matter imagery. From their site:
One entry, titled “No Justice No Peeps,” strove to “shed light on the corruption and exploitation of the American Judicial System,” according to the artist’s statement.
The overall winner of the still photo category was a tribute to the late David Bowie:
