Here’s Skip Bayless Beaming After Tim Tebow Homered in His First Minor League At-Bat

Tim Tebow played his first official minor league game on Thursday night. And in his very first at-bat, the 2007 Heisman Trophy winner went yard.

Friday on Undisputed, Skip Bayless was positively giddy. The morning hot-taker — a longtime, unabashed fan of Tebow’s — tried to make a random A-Ball dinger seem like Joe Carter‘s World Series-winner in 1932.

“I was mildly impressed, but I was completely unsurprised,” Bayless said. “It’s Tim Tebow, for heaven’s sake! It’s who he is. It’s what he does. The bigger the stage, the bigger the moment, he’s always made!”

Bayless’s eyeroll-inducing Tebow tribute was countered by his Undisputed co-host Shannon Sharpe.

“Was this the World Series? Game 7? Bottom of the ninth? Down by two?” Sharpe said.

“I think the whole world was watching last night,” Bayless replied, with just a hint of a smile.
