Hillary Clinton spoke out about the latest FBI news in an interview today with none other than Ryan Seacrest.
She said she wasn’t surprised by James Comey saying they found nothing new, but Clinton did go on to say this:
“I was obviously a little befuddled by the whole process, but it’s behind us now and I think everybody should focus on what is best for our country and how we’re going to meet the challenges that we have, and that’s what I have been talking about throughout this entire campaign.”
She opened up about the “amazing combination of emotions” she’s feeling in the final leg of the campaign, saying she doesn’t anticipate to get much sleep tonight.
Clinton also told Seacrest that she expects to speak with Trump if she wins. “I hope that he will,” she said, “if I am successful, play a constructive role in doing what I just said: coming together, bringing people who supported him to the table so that we can have the kind of national conversation we should have.”
