Hillary Clinton revealed at a campaign event today she sent a copy of her book Hard Choices to every single Republican presidential candidate.
Why? Because they’ve been attacking her record left and right for her lack of accomplishments as Secretary of State and she thinks they don’t actually know anything about her record.
Clinton said today she sent the book to all of them, and copies included the following letter:
I understand that you and your fellow Republican candidates for president were questioning my record of accomplishments at your last debate, so I thought you might enjoy reading my book, Hard Choices.
From working to restore America’s standing in the world to bringing crippling sanctions to Iran to negotiating a ceasefire in Gaza, please enjoy all 596 pages of my time as secretary of state. With 15 candidates in the race, you’ve got enough people for a book club!
With best wishes, I am
Sincerely yours,
Hillary Rodham Clinton
And just to amp up the troll factor, the letters were apparently addressed to the candidates by their formal names (i.e. Piyush Jindal, John E. Bush).
Some of them trolled her right back:
We’ll gladly return the favor and send @HillaryClinton’s campaign #ATimeForTruth because, well… https://t.co/mAFpyZ2SOK
