How to Watch Premier Boxing Champions Keith Thurman vs. Danny Garcia Live Stream Online
Boxing is back on CBS for the first time since last June. That night, welterweight star Keith Thurman was featured in the main event, as he edged out Shawn Porter to win a narrow decision and retain his WBA welterweight title. Thurman is back in the main event on Saturday night, taking on WBC welterweight champ Danny Garcia in a showdown from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Thurman (27-0, 22 KO) had his problems against Porter, who was the aggressor for much of the night. But Thurman’s defense and counterattack helped him get the nod last June in a close one.
To his credit, Thurman’s stepping right back in against top company by taking on Garcia, himself an undefeated champion (33-0, 19 KO). Garcia has faced questionable opposition over the past three years, and takes a huge step up in class to face Thurman on Saturday. But there are reasons to believe he can get the job done. There are some quality wins on his ledger going back to when he was in the light welterweight division.
The card begins at 9:00 p.m. ET on CBS, with Mauro Ranallo, Al Bernstein, and “Sugar” Ray Leonard on the call. CBS will stream the fights via its All Access platform (which costs $5.99 per month, but does offer a one-week free trial to new customers). Certain cable providers also offer the ability to stream CBS online free with a cable subscription.
