Aside from one overtime road win at Arizona, Washington has been nothing short of a wrecking crew so far in the 2016 season. The No. 4 ranked Huskies have won their other six games by a margin of at least 24 points. So far, the preseason hype on Washington has absolutely proved to be justified.
But they figure to get a road test on Saturday in Salt Lake City when they take on the Utah Utes. Utah, ranked No. 17 in the country, is a difficult team to get a handle on. They’ve only lost once (on the road against Cal on Oct. 1), but most of their games have been close. They’ll absolutely have to play their best game of the season to have a chance against a high-powered Washington squad.
Washington quarterback Jake Browning has put himself in the Heisman conversation with an eye-popping 26-2 touchdown-to-interception ratio. He’s been superb in his sophomore campaign, and as a result, the Huskies are in the driver’s seat for a Pac 12 title and a playoff berth.
Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. ET. The game will air on Fox Sports 1. Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt have the call. The action can be streamed free with a cable subscription on pc, cell phone, or tablet via Fox Sports Go — which can be downloaded via the iTunes store, the Google Play store, and the Windows store.
