Last week, SiriusXM suspended Glenn Beck‘s program because a guest on the show made comments about a “patriot” stepping up and assassinating Donald Trump.
Today, his show was back on and Beck had the opportunity to address the whole thing. He very carefully laid out his thoughts, saying that he had not been contacted by SiriusXM brass, nor did they listen to the segment during which staff “explained” what had happened.
Beck seemed to take it all in stride, saying, “I talked to [David Gorab, SiriusXM Vice President and General Manager] yesterday, and I said, ‘Dave, you don’t want to be in business with me? That’s totally cool, and we’re still friends,’” Beck said. ”You don’t want to be in business, don’t be in business, and no hard feelings. That’s what private free market industry is about.”
At least he’s handling it all well.
