Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski And Delicious Egg Dishes Take Center Stage At 2011 Mirror Awards

This year’s Mirror Awards were held, once again, at The Plaza in Manhattan and were hosted by a vaguely familiar TV duo: Morning Joe‘s Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski. The two served as relatively fitting MC’s for a ceremony that, while overwhelmingly representative of reporting presented online or in print, honored Brian L. Roberts, chairman and CEO of Comcast, were its Fred Dressler Achievement Award. In addition, Dennis Crowley and Naveen Selvadurai, the co-founders of Foursquare, with given the i-3 award for “impact, innovation and influence.” More importantly than all that, however, is the fact that those in attendance were served deviled eggs. With truffle oil. And so – if I may be permitted to borrow a joke from myself – this afternoon, we are all winners.
