On The View today, Joy Behar expressed her frustration with Democrats for “rolling over” when they still have a way to stop Donald Trump.
She said that “the Democrats are not going to do what they have to to stop him,” citing the electoral college’s vote next week. Behar argued that the qualifying factors by which electors can reject Trump more than qualify here.
Sara Haines and Jedediah Bila immediately pushed back, with Haines saying the people spoke and Bila saying you can’t just overturn the will of the people, especially when there is nothing definitive settled yet about the success of Russia’s attempts.
Bila asked her how she would feel if Hillary Clinton won and Republicans were demanding electors reject her because of the FBI looking into her. Behar said it’s not comparable.
She added that right now there is still a “glimmer of hope” to stop Trump.
