For weeks now, we’ve known that Kim Jong-Un had his uncle executed (and was apparently very drunk when he ordered it), but one Chinese state newspaper is reporting that the manner in which his uncle died was more brutal than you may have possibly imagined: getting eaten alive by a pack of 120 dogs.
The report, picked up by NBC News, says that the North Korean leader’s uncle was stripped down and thrown into a cage with the giant pack of dogs, along with four of his aides, and they met a swift end.
However, U.S. officials were unable to confirm this version of events to NBC News, and The Washington Post‘s Max Fisher casts some serious doubts that this actually happened, calling into question the Chinese paper that initially reported this and the fact that no one else in China or South Korea has reported it yet, basically likening it to something Americans might see in the National Enquirer.
