Lachlan Murdoch, one of the executive co-chairs of 21st Century Fox and NewsCorp, addressed the recent big shakeup at Fox News during the company earnings call today.
Rupert Murdoch‘s elder son confirmed that they received and accepted Roger Ailes‘s resignation, and said his father is temporarily running things.

“Throughout this process,” he said, “we have moved quickly and decisively to protect the business, to protect its employees, and to protect the unique and important voice Fox News broadcasts.”
He added this:
