Latest Vague Accusation Inspires Twitter to Troll Trump With #ManyPeopleAreSaying
After Donald Trump embraced a new allegation against Hillary Clinton on Monday, Twitter critics have come out in force to mock him over one of his favorite segues to controversial innuendo and political mudslinging.
Last night, Trump got on board with the recent, questionable claim that Clinton caused an Iranian scientist and CIA informant’s execution by mentioning him in her deleted emails. While some have said it was too early to jump to conclusions, conservative websites and figures have picked up on this and blamed the former Secretary of State for making scattered, cryptic references to Shahram Amiri.
The GOP nominee took to Twitter with this message specifically:
Many people are saying that the Iranians killed the scientist who helped the U.S. because of Hillary Clinton’s hacked emails.

Of course, this is hardly the first time that Trump used that kind of phrase; it’s just nebulous enough to convey some meaning without providing any real specifics. This newest instance caused his critics to rebuke him with the hashtag #ManyPeopleAreSaying:
