‘Let’s Go For Your Next Question’: Trump Refuses to Be Grilled by CNN’s Dana Bash
In spite of what some political observers had hoped, the media did show up to watch Donald Trump cut the ribbon on a new hotel in Washington, D.C., today. Among the reporters at the scene was CNN’s Dana Bash, who asked him whether he considered the event free publicity and why he is always mentioning sinking $100 million of his own money into his campaign when reports say that he’s just spent $56 million.
He pivoted away from that line of questioning repeatedly, even saying that he should be praised for spending less. She continued trying to ask him when he planned to spend the full amount he promised and finally he said, “Let’s go for your next question, Dana.”
When she asked what he would say to those who question him appearing at a hotel opening when he could be in swing states, he told her that even asking that question was insulting because he campaigns all the time.
Watch above to see him refuse to answer how much money he is willing to spend to combat the ads he is always jabbing Hillary Clinton for releasing.
