Rush Limbaugh couldn’t help being just a little amused today that Bill Clinton scolded President Obama for not upholding his promise on people being able to keep their health care plans if they liked them. After all, he said, Obama has to be doing really badly to get a lecture from Clinton about honesty.
Limbaugh said, “If you’re Obama, can you imagine being lectured to about honesty and integrity from a convicted perjurer? Bill Clinton?! My gosh, folks, I mean, literally, how far has one fallen when that is the case?”
Limbaugh, however, didn’t think was necessarily done with the noblest of intentions, because “when Der Schlickmeister comes out and undercuts the President of the United States on a promise the president made… there’s always a motive.”
Limbaugh didn’t quite know “what’s in it for Slick Willy here” (though he suspected it’s likely about 2016), but found it fascinating that he’s being so honest about the health care law in the first place.
