Mark Levin Scolds Palin for ‘Linking to an Anti-Semitic Website’ to Slam Cruz
Conservative radio host Mark Levin criticized Sarah Palin this afternoon for sinking too low in trying to score “cheap shots” against Ted Cruz.
Palin, who has endorsed Donald Trump, posted this on Facebook yesterday to attack Cruz for his hypocrisy in publicly rejecting money from lobbyists and special interests:
Palin linked to the website The Conservative Treehouse, which brought up the OpenSecrets list of Cruz’s biggest contributors, including the Club for Growth and Goldman Sachs.
They also posted a video showing Cruz taking different positions on a number of issues:
Now, that led to Levin––who has consistently praised Cruz as a principled conservative––to respond to Palin on Facebook:
Now, for the sake of context, The Conservative Treehouse ran a blog post last month calling Levin’s credibility into question because his fiancée’s son works on Cruz’s Senate staff. They accused him of not disclosing a conflict of interest and said, “Crony politics is apparently alive and well amid the Mark Levin radio show.”
The same day that post dropped, Levin appeared to respond to it on his radio show, saying that he believes he’s being purposefully targeted and intimidated by a campaign. He said he has been completely transparent with his audience about his views, and told his audience it should infuriate them that there’s this kind of effort to try and “silence” him.
The anti-semitism charge stems from what Levin posted on Facebook in response to the site’s blog post last month, bringing up tweets about his support for Israel from one of the site’s bloggers:
