New NBC/WSJ Poll Gives Hillary a 25-Point National Lead Over Sanders Ahead of Debate

PicMonkey Collage - Sanders HillaryRecent polls have shown Bernie Sanders making gains over Hillary Clinton in Iowa and New Hampshire, but a new poll out today shows Clinton is still the frontrunner by a mile nationally.

The new NBC/WSJ poll released today––ahead of tonight’s NBC News Democratic debate––shows Clinton with a 25-point lead over Sanders. 59 percent of Democratic primary voters want Clinton; 34 percent want Sanders.

79 percent would ultimately support Clinton in the end if she’s the nominee, while 66 percent said the same for Sanders. Clinton ends up way ahead of Sanders with voters who want an experienced, more tested candidate.

Sanders, however, overtakes Clinton by 37 points with voters who want to see a change to current policy.
