NZ Prime Minister: I Gave Message of ‘Love For All Muslim Communities’ When Trump Asked What Support US Could Provide

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern spoke with President Donald Trump earlier today on the horrific terror attack on mosques in Christchurch.

Ardern noted how many world leaders have sent their condolences, saying of Trump, “He sought to call us directly. He very much wished for his condolences to be passed on to New Zealand. He asked what offer of support the United States could provide. My message was sympathy and love for all Muslim communities.”

Ardern was asked if she agrees with Trump’s remarks that white nationalism is not on the rise. She responded, “No.”
