Nikki Haley Quickly and Efficiently Dismisses Trump’s Attempt at a Twitter Fight
Earlier this afternoon, Donald Trump tried to start one of his infamous Twitter beefs. Today’s target was Nikki Haley, the South Carolinian governor who recently endorsed his rival, Marco Rubio. Step one was tweeting the following video of Haley calling the release of candidates’ tax returns a political “ploy” in 2012, then calling on Trump to release his in 2016:

Haley, an accountant, has probably evolved her thoughts on the matter over the past four years of more involvement in the political sphere, but it still isn’t a great look for her.
Step two was tweeting a pointed insult at her:
Step two and a half was deleting the tweet with the misspelling — which I had the foresight to screengrab because we’ve been here before! — and reissuing it to reflect the way Haley actually spells her last name:
The people of South Carolina are embarrassed by Nikki Haley!

Haley didn’t appear interested in becoming Trump’s latest Twitter victim, so she responded with this bored-sounding message:
@realDonaldTrump, Bless your heart.

And so, Governor Haley failed to join the ever-growing list of people who were willing to play Trump’s social media game.
