Now Charlie Sheen’s Involved in the Rob Ford Mess for Some Reason

Is Rob Ford #winning?

No. But that may change soon after a little help from tiger blood aficionado and fellow lover of exciting lifestyles Charlie Sheen. After a fake news story about Sheen telling Ford to step down caught people’s attention, Sheen tweeted a flat-out denial he said that, and actually had some words of advice and encouragement for Ford, as well as an offer to be his unofficial media handler of sorts.

The Daily Currant, an Onion-like site that’s duped people before with pieces about Bill O’Reilly assaulting Santa, Sarah Palin joining Harvard University, and Ann Coulter disliking all the minorities in the new Star Trek movie, posted a story about Sheen telling Ford even he doesn’t get that high and it’s time to resign. This being the internet, people actually fell for it, and Sheen cleared the air about what he really thinks about the crack-smoking mayor.

dear Mayor Rob Ford,
the only truth or correct reporting in today’s
repulsive story regarding
my alleged comments about you,
is the accurate spelling of your great city.
your personal life is and never would be,
any of my business.
I’m sorry for any grief this may have caused.
if I can be of any assistance
in any capacity in this
media cesspool,
please accept the noble offer of my steady
hand and compassionate heart.
respectfully,
charlie sheen.

The pairing could actually work if it really happened, considering a lot of what Ford says could have just as easily been said by Sheen himself.
