Ohio Man Arrested For Dumping Pile of Manure Outside Democratic Party Headquarters
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office has reportedly made an arrest after someone dumped a truckload of manure outside of the local HQ for the Democratic Party.
On Saturday morning, a sheriff’s deputy alerted office leaders after discovering the mess that was left outside the building. The incident has drawn parallels to an event from four years, when a dump occurred at the same offices during the 2012 election.
“What reasonable person thinks this is OK????” Bethe Goldenfield wrote on Facebook. “I won’t be responding to anyone who thinks this is acceptable behavior. It is ILLEGAL!”
Goldenfield, who works as the party’s local chairwoman, told the Cincinnati Enquirer that she was in contact with the police and going through security footage. Goldenfield said that she hired a contractor to remove the pile, but that the party also received help from local volunteers.
According to WHIO, James Pineal is now facing a charge of Criminal Mischief for the incident, and that he will appear for an arraignment in Lebanon Municipal Court on Thursday.
