Oven Fresh: The Best Of Twitter’s #HermanCainPizzaJams
In a recent (informal, highly unscientific) poll (that I conducted half-heartedly while eating lunch), it would appear that the majority of Americans (currently available to chat with me on gchat) would not vote for Herman Cain, but would definitely sit down with him over a piping hot pizza. The guy is hella likable! And he’s already leaving his mark on pop culture by inadvertently launching a trending topic on Twitter: #HermanCainPizzaJams. The topic was inspired, of course, by the media’s recent discovery of footage showing the former CEO of Godfather Pizza singing a song about that most beloved of dishes at a 1991 Omaha Press Club event.
Of course, plenty of people are complaining that this is trending in the first place, but those people have disgusting bricks of Chicago-style pizza in the space where their hearts should be.
Anyway. Here are some of my personal (pan! lololololandit’sonlymonday) pizza Tweets. Do feel free to share your own in the comments.
