Palin: What Ahmed Mohamed Did Wasn’t ‘Innocent’
In a Facebook post last night, Sarah Palin contrasted kids who are actually “humiliated and intimidated” at school for innocent actions with Ahmed Mohamed, who she didn’t think was similarly innocent.
Following up on her daughter ripping President Obama for inviting Mohamed to the White House, Palin went after the “reactionary-slash-biased media” for coming to Mohamed’s defense when he was “evidently obstinate” and had something “that obviously could be seen by conscientious teachers as a dangerous wired-up bomb-looking contraption.”
She said there are kids in schools who get in trouble even though their actions are “innocent”––like getting in trouble for squirt guns or one kid’s dad who left a box of ammo in a school parking lot––as opposed to Mohamed.
Palin also went after Obama for “jumping in cases prematurely” and snarked, “Believing that’s a clock in a school pencil box is like believing Barack Obama is ruling over the most transparent administration in history. Right. That’s a clock, and I’m the Queen of England.”
