Pat Robertson Still Thinks Global Warming Isn’t Man-Made Because There Are No SUVs on Other Planets

With the global warming debate back in the news again, Pat Robertson decided to throw in his two cents recently by dismissing the whole idea of man-made global warming. In addition to what he says is a racket on the part of climate scientists, he said that global warming is simply not happening because Jupiter is getting warmer and no one’s driving SUVs on Jupiter.

This is very similar to an argument he made against man-made global warming in 2012, when he said that Mars is getting warmer too, in spite of its lack of SUVs and oil refineries. Here’s what Robertson said this time:

“It’s getting warmer, you know, in Jupiter and they don’t have any SUVs driving around on Jupiter. I mean, it has nothing to do with greenhouse gases, it has to do with the axis of the sun.”

Robertson also argued there’s a conspiracy in the scientific community to sound the alarms because they’re raking in the money with grants and other things by going along with the consensus of scientific groups.
