Pence Met With Silence During Munich Speech After Sending Greetings from Trump

Vice President Mike Pence spoke at the Munich Security Conference and was met with some awkward silence when sending greetings from President Donald Trump.

Pence made news during his foreign trip, urging European allies to withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal.

On Friday Pence spoke at the inaugural John McCain Dissertation Award Ceremony, in a speech that praised and paid tribute to the life and legacy of the late senator John McCain.

The audience applauded towards the beginning of his speech when the vice president said, “I especially want to invite all of you to thank Senator Lindsey Graham for leading this delegation.”

Moments later, Pence said, “I bring greetings from the 45h President of the United States of America, President Donald Trump.”

This was met with silence in the room.
